The Colorado River is famous for carving canyons.  It sculptures such canyons as BYERS CANYON at Hot Sulphur Springs, the GORE CANYONS below Kremmling, GLENWOOD CANYON in Glenwood Springs, WESTWATER CANYON on the Colorado-Utah border, and CATARACT CANYON above Lake Powell and the GRAND CANYON in Arizona.  Our trips on the Colorado River raft through the LOWER GORE and RED GORGE CANYONS, just southwest of the town of Kremmling.
